General Lighing, as a well-known company focused on linear LED lighting solutions for 15 years, has always adhered to and practiced the "innovation-driven" business philosophy.
From 2022 to March 2023, two series of our products, namely flexible wall washer strip and flexible neon strip, stand out in the annual competition of tens of thousands of products from more than 100 countries and regions, and won several international DESIGN awards including iF DESIGN, LIT LIGHTING DESIGN and MUSE DESIGN.
Founded in 1953, iF DESIGN AWARD is an independent award awarded by the third party organization "Hannover Industrial Design Forum". It is known as the "Oscar of design industry" and one of the world's three design awards. It is well known for its "independent, rigorous and reliable" award evaluation concept. It aims to enhance public awareness of design.
For the winning product, the award means the most secure recognition of its appearance and quality, and is the symbol and guarantee of the world's higher design aesthetic and quality.
In 2022, a total of 57 countries and regions around the world, nearly 11,000 entries took part in the competition, the selection process is tight and competitive. A jury of 132 design experts from more than 20 countries judged the entries in terms of product concept, form, function, differentiation and impact. Among them, our company's flexible wall washer strip FleXCite Opti Grazer Series Dual-Bend NS-115&NS-121 broke out and won the honor of iF Design Award.
The LIT LIGHTING DESIGN AWARDS is one of the three most prestigious lighting design awards in the world. More than 650 entries were submitted from 51 countries and were judged by a panel of more than 40 experienced professionals, architects, interior designers, academics and lighting industry media representatives.
Among them, our flexible neon strip FleXCite Series Dual-Bend NS-107&NS-112&NS-130, and flexible wall washer strip FleXCite Opti Grazer Series Dual-Bend NS-115&NS-121, won the Winner and Honorable Mention two awards respectively.
MUSE DESIGN AWARDS is an international design competition for creative professionals and companies from all fields of design. Founded by the International Awards Association (IAA) in 2015, Muse Design Awards is one of the most influential international awards in the field of creative design worldwide. It aims to discover and commend outstanding people in the fields of architectural design, interior design, landscape design, lighting design, product design, packaging design and so on.
The awards are divided into Platinum award, Gold award and Silver award according to their grades. The awards, which are awarded annually, recognize artists who have demonstrated excellence in the communication arts based on academic, community, creative, innovative, educational and inclusive criteria.
There were more than 6,300 entries for the 2023 Muse Awards, judged by 110 professionals in various fields from 38 countries. Among them, our flexible neon strip FleXCite Series Dual-Bend NS-107&NS-112&NS-130 won the Gold medal, and the flexible wall washer strip FleXCite Opti Grazer Series Dual-Bend NS-115&NS-121 won the Silver Silver Award.
